Rainbow City Taxis Advert

AC Mill Inn 1 – 0 Bon Accord City

1st Touch Football Premier Division at Stonehaven on Saturday 30th April

City started well when Karim forced Mill Inn’s keeper McNab to push the ball round the post for a corner in the second minute. City’s Watt was next to shoot at goal but his shot went wide of the upright.

Twenty minutes into the half City’s Tiffney had a chance but keeper McNab again pushed the shot for a corner. Mill Inn’s Shuttleworth made a run at City’s defence and beat two men before his intended pass to Watson was cleared by City’s Harris.

Thirty nine minutes gone and City’s Watt had only the keeper to beat but sliced his shot past the post. Three minutes later Watt had another chance but again put his shot way past the post.

Half-time: 0-0

Early in the second half the home side were forced to change their keeper after a clash with City’s Craig.

Mill Inn went ahead in sixty four minutes when Daniel Crighton broke clear, beat the sweeper and chipped the ball over keeper Kessock.

From there on the hosts went on the defensive, keeping ten men in the last third of their half. City forced several corners but could not break through the wall of players in the eighteen yard box.

Mill Inn kept City at bay and with the final score 1-0 collect three points but they still prop up the Premier Division.
