In the two all-AAFA third round ties, Hilton defeated Hazlehead United 3-0 and Great Western United prevailed against Highland Hotel by the same margin.

AC Mill Inn joined them in the hat for the fourth round on 8th November after defeating Motherwell Miners on penalties and a single goal was enough to see Turriff Thistle through in their replay against Glasgow Graduates.

Newmachar United were unable to make home advantage count in their replay against Letham, losing by two goals to one, but the other two Aberdeenshire sides who were involved in replays on 15th November both enjoyed away wins, with Newtonhill defeating Meadow Star in Edinburgh and MS United overcoming the challenge of Hearts of Beath in Fife.
