In one of only two amateur games to beat the weather, RGU took on MS United on the astro turf at Kaimhill. First half goals from Innes and Mackie had the visitors two up at the break but late strikes from Stoddart and Fransci rescued a point for the students.

Ellon Amateurs clinched a 5-0 win over Trophies International in the third round of the Aberdeen FC Trophy at Beach Park, Balmedie.



JS XI 4 – 1 Continental

JS XI advanced into the last four of the Castle Rovers Cup following a convincing victory over Continental in terrible conditions at Hazlehead. Reid, Crighton, Hume and Andrews were the goalscores for the home side while McCartny got Continental’s sole reply.

University 1 – 0 Sportsmans Club

University kept their chances of wining the Premier League alive after with a win against Sportsmans at Balgownie. Both teams fielded tired under strength teams and it showed in a poor display. The only goal of the game was score dby David Lawrence just before the break.



Woodside win the AFC Trophy

Woodside lifted this season’s AFC Trophy thanks to a James Simpson hat-trick. Kincorth had come back from a goal down to take a half-time lead through goals from Brian McDonald and Jamie Buchan. The game went into extra-time and Woodside’s winning goal came with just six minutes left on the clock.



Sportsmans Club 2 – 2 Kincorth

Sportsmans fought back from two goals down to win a vital point against League leaders Kincorth. The visitors goals came from Marek Madle and Tony Livingstone with Lee McKenzie and Gary McNamara getting the replies for Sportsmans.
