Insch 0 – 3 Westdyke

This North of Scotland Cup third round tie was switched to Inverdee to get the game played. Two goals from Ian McKenzie and one from Andrew Connon were enough to see Westdyke through to the next round despite a man-of-the-match effort from Insch ‘keeper Errol Watson.



California 6 – 4 Bon Accord City (AET)

Bon Accord City came off the field with their heads held high after a hard fought replay against California. They went three goals down in the first half but fought back to take the lead then lost a goal with three minutes remaining to take the game into extra time.



Bon Accord City 3 – 3 California

“California here we come” was the cry at the final whistle at Balgownie in the game between Bon Accord City and California Amateurs of Stirling. Bon Accord were two goals down at half time but fought back in the second half forcing a replay next week.



AC Mill Inn 2 – 1 Cove Thistle

AC Mill Inn completed the double over League Champions Cove Thistle in a hard fought game in terrible conditions. Martin Carmichael put the home side awahead early in the second half. Paul Gill equalised from the penalty spot before Carmichael added a second deep into added time.



RGU 3 – 3 Woodside

RGU and Woodside shared the spoils in this Division One (East) match after the students recovered from 3-0 down with just 20 minutes remaining. The goals included a strike from Woodside keeper MacDonald from his own penalty area. Davidson and Petrie were also on target for the visitors while RGU’s comeback goals came from Low, Twatt and Campbell.



MS United 2 – 2 Bon-Accord City

Bon-Accord City had keeper Hill to thank for going through to the last 32 of the Aberdeen FC Trophy. Hill made some excellent saves during this second round tie against MS United at New Advocates Park and was the hero when the penalty kicks were taken – saving three.



Johnshaven Athletic 0 – 4 Banchory

Johnshaven Athletic played host to Premier side Banchory in the Aberdeen FC Trophy on a cold wet day at Wairds Park. The visitors came out on top thanks to an excellent hat-trick from Craig Chalmers and a strike from Josh Gilbert. Banchory will now host Glendale or Portlethen United in the next round.



Newtonhill 3 – 2 Ellon Thistle

Newtonhill came out victors in this mid-table battle. The game was played at pace and on a very heavy surface. Grant Moir got the decisive goal with eight minutes remaining, the other goals for the winners coming from Ross Milson and Craig Barraza. For the visitors Mark Kennedy and Callum Duncan scored either side of half-time.



Newmachar Utd 5 – 3 Feughside

This was an eight goal thriller with both teams playing good attacking football. On today’s performance there did not seem to be a two league gap between them. Newmachar progressed to the next round, with Booth scoring a hat-trick after strikes from Lornie and Fraser. Feughside’s goals came from a Mackie brace and McKenzie.



RGU 7 – 3 Bervie Caley

RGU found the net seven times after being two goals down to a Bervie Caley team full of running and confidence in the first half. Bradley Bryant scored a hat-trick for the students who ran out comfortable winners after five second half goals.
